How is “North Pole Santa Letters” different from other websites selling letters from Santa?

North Pole Santa Letters was created for the purpose of spreading joy, wonder and excitement to children all over the world by receiving their very own letter from Santa. By not offering all of the “extras” like the other sites, the focus can remain on producing a variety of high quality letters at the lowest prices on the web. Each of my letters come with a Free sheet of stickers, an official Santa seal and an authentic postmark on the envelope. With all that you are truly getting the best value out there!

How much does ordering from North Pole Santa Letters cost?
  • Prices for a standard letter are $9.99. Custom letters written by you are $11.99. Please Click Here or email for more information
  • Nice List Certificates are priced at $6.99 per certificate
  • Ornaments are now available and range from $4.49 to $8.99 plus $7.49 shipping within the United States.
  • Add personalization to select ornaments for an additional $1.50
  • Ornaments shipping to Canada or internationally is an additional $10.95 per ornament.
  • Holiday Hot Cocoa is now available to ship with your letter or certificate.  Cocoa prices are $4.99 plus $6.49 shipping.  If purchased with an ornament, the total cost of shipping will be $6.49
How early can I place an order for a letter from Santa?

Orders for the upcoming holiday season can be placed beginning on June 1, 2024.

Orders will be placed in the mail beginning November 1st unless requested otherwise.

Letters with the Authentic Postmark will begin mailing to Alaska on November 15th for the Authentic postmark.  USPS will not begin providing Authentic postmarks on letters from Santa until November 23, 2024.

Can I place my order(s) by phone?

Due to the customized nature of the letters, phone orders are not accepted at this time.

How do I place an order online?

Ordering is easy and convenient! Simply go to our Letters from Santa from the menu. You can select between 38 templates, or create your own custom letter. Select your background, insert the personalization information and add to your cart. From your cart you can either continue shopping for additional letters or proceed to checkout.

How do I personalize my child’s letter from Santa?

Personalization is easy. Once you select your letter, as you scroll down on the same page the fields will be visible to enter your child’s information. Once complete, add to your cart and you are ready to go.

Do you offer customized letters?

Yes, from our Letters from Santa page, you can select Create Your Own Custom Letter. Choose your choice of background and add to your cart. During the checkout process, you will be prompted to insert your letter text into the custom instruction box. Custom letters are $11.99.

How do I create a custom letter from Santa using my text?

From our Letters from Santa page, you can select Create Your Own Custom Letter. Choose your choice of background and add to your cart. During the checkout process, you can include your letter text in the additional comments field. Custom letters are $11.99.

Can I make additional personalization to a standard letter?

You can request minor modifications to one of the existing letters by typing your request in the Comments/Instructions during the checkout process, or by Clicking Here or emailing the requested changes.

What are my payment options?

Payments are accepted via PayPal. For your convenience, PayPal now offers the ability to pay with either PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, Venmo or direct from your bank account.

Can I pay by personal check or money order?

At this time Pay Pal is the only accepted method of payment. For your convenience, PayPal will accept Mastercard, Visa, Venmo or your bank account depending on your account settings.

Do you charge sales tax?

There is no charge for sales tax at North Pole Santa Letters at this time.

What is the deadline for ordering?
  • Orders within the United States must be received by November 25th to ensure a Christmas delivery with an Authentic North Pole postmark. However, orders can be placed until December 10th, with a custom North Pole postmark as well as a local postmark.
  • Canadian or International orders must be received by November 22nd to ensure a Christmas delivery with an Authentic North Pole postmark. Orders will be accepted until December 1st, with a custom North Pole postmark as well as local postmark.

What if I miss the order deadline for the North Pole postmark, but still want a letter?

Orders within the United States will be accepted until December 10th with a custom North Pole postmark as well as a local postmark. Any order received after December 10th cannot be guaranteed for Christmas delivery, however, I am happy to work with you for alternate options.

What are the different Postmark Options

We offer 3 different postmarks to allow us to accept orders later in the season and also give the flexibility to be able to have shorter shipping durations by shipping directly from our local post office. Our options are as follows:

  • Authentic North Pole Postmark – All letters to receive this postmark will be shipped to North Pole, Alaska before being sent to the child.  USPS will not begin providing Authentic postmarks on letters from Santa until November 23, 2024. Letters will be delivered to children after Thanksgiving and may take several weeks due to the quantity of letters they receive for processing..  North Pole Santa Letters is not responsible for delays in shipping this method with USPS.

  • Custom North Pole Express Mail Postmark – This is one of our custom made postmarks that allows us to ship letters directly from our location to the child. This option helps expedite delivery, which is usually within 5-15 days from the shipping date, depending on weather storm conditions. In addition to having this post mark, there is a small, round local post office postmark as well.

Order Tracking & Updates:

When will my child's letter ship?
  • Due to increased issues with USPS over the last several years, letters will now be mailed beginning November 1, unless otherwise requested.  North Pole Santa letters is not responsible for delayed delivery with this postmark option offered by USPS.
  • All letters will have a 3-5 day processing time before shipment.
  • If you would like a letter sent out on a specific date, please note it in the comments section of the order form or contact me by Clicking Here or emailing me.
  • During the month of December, shipment may be delayed to up to 5 days due to the volume of orders.
  • Remember it is always a good idea to place your order early to have it shipped as soon as possible to avoid the USPS holiday rush and extended shipping durations.
How do I know if my North Pole Santa letter order went thru?
  • Once your order(s) have been completed and you go through the checkout process you will receive a confirmation email from PayPal immediately confirming your purchase. In addition, a confirmation email will be sent out from northpolesantaletters@msn.com confirming your order.
  • Be sure to add northpolesantaletters@msn.com to your Safe Senders/Contacts list to ensure you receive important emails regarding your order.
Why didn’t I receive an email confirmation?

If you received a PayPal confirmation but did not receive a North Pole Santa Letter confirmation, please check your SPAM/Junk mail folder. To ensure all confirmations are delivered, please add northpolesantaletters@msn.com to your Safe Senders/Contacts list to ensure you receive important emails regarding your order.

How do I make changes to my order?

If you have changes that you would like to make to your order, please contact me by Clicking Here or emailing me.  If your order has not yet been printed, I would be happy to assist you in a change.

How can I check on the status of my order?

For questions regarding your order, please contact me by Clicking Here or emailing me.  Please be sure to include both your name, and the name of the child the letter was addressed to.

Can I cancel an order once it has been placed?

In the event that you would like to cancel your order before it has been processed, please contact me by Clicking Here or emailing me.  If the letter has not been printed, I can offer a full refund. Once the letter has been printed and mailed, I cannot accept cancellations or refunds due to the personalized nature of the products.

Shipping:

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Yes, shipping is available to any P.O. Box within the United of the States.

Do you ship internationally?
  • Beginning in 2022 we will again accept international orders.  However, shipping times may vary greatly depending on the country.
  • Orders shipped internationally and to Canada will incur an additional shipping charge of $1.50 per letter and $10.95 per ornament. All prices given on our website are in US Dollars. Canadian International orders may incur additional bank/currency exchange fees.
  • Canadian International orders must be received by November 22nd to ensure a Christmas delivery with an authentic North Pole postmark. Orders will be accepted until December 1st, with a custom North Pole postmark as well as a local postmark.
What shipping method do you use?

All letters from Santa are mailed via USPS first class mail.  No tracking information is available.

Now offering the option to upgrade to USPS Priority Mail within the United States.  Any items shipped with priority mail will receive a tracking number.

How much does shipping cost?
  • Letters and certificates ship Free within the Unites States.
  • Orders shipping International and to Canada will be charged an additional $1.50 postage per letter.
  • If adding an ornament or hot chocolate with your order, the cost will be $7.49 per ornament within the United States
  • Ornaments shipping to Canada will incur an additional $10.95 per ornament
Can Ornaments receive an Authentic North Pole postmark?

At this time, to ensure that ornaments are received in a timely manner, ornaments are not available to receive the Authentic North Pole Postmark.  The shipping service in Alaska accepts letters only and can take up to 45 days for delivery.

Do all items in my order ship together?
  • Each child in an order will receive their items from Santa in an envelope addressed specifically to them.
  • .Orders to multiple children in a household or on an order will all ship on the same day
    • Note: It is common for USPS to separate letters during shipment, with the results that not all letters are received on the same day.
  • Multiple items such as letters, certificates and ornaments will ship in one envelope.
    • Ornaments will be shipped with corresponding items in a bubble mailer instead of a standard envelope, direct from the post office.
Why didn't I receive a shipping confirmation?

Shipping confirmations are sent out within 24 hours of shipping from northpolesantaletters@msn.com. If you do not receive a confirmation, please check your SPAM/Junk mail folder. To ensure all confirmations are delivered, please add northpolesantaletters@msn.com to your Safe Senders/Contacts list.

Do you provide tracking numbers for the letters?

Because each letter sent via USPS 1st class mail, tracking numbers are not available.

However, if you purchase an ornament or hot cocoa package, the letter or certificate is inclueded in the package and will be sent with USPS tracked mail.

What if the letter is damaged during shipping?

In the unlikely event an item is damaged in shipping, please save all shipping materials and contact me by Clicking Here or emailing me.  I will contact you in regards to a replacement letter or possible refund.

How long does it take for the letter from Santa to arrive?
  • Letters within the United States typically take from 5-45 days to arrive once shipped, depending on your choice of postmark.
  • Canadian International orders take from 7-30 days for arrival.
  • International orders outside of North America may take up to 45 days for delivery.
Why do letters take so long during shipping?

Each letter that receives an Authentic North Pole Postmark is routed through the post office at North Pole, Alaska.  USPS will not begin providing Authentic postmarks on letters from Santa until November 23, 2024. Letters will be delivered after Thanksgiving.

In addition, this is the busiest time of the year for the postal service and as such tend to experience delays.

What if the letter from Santa is not received?

Occasionally letters can be misplaced in the shipping process by USPS. If your letter has not been received, please contact me by clicking here or emailing me. Children receiving their letters is my paramount concern and I would be happy to put a new letter in the mail if time allows.

  • I am a small family owned business therefore do not have a customer service department. However, I strive to provide excellent service and take your order seriously. I strive to return all communication within 8-12 hours.
Do you offer any specials or discounts?

  • The new website design also allows you to input a star rating for each letter and provide a comment.
  • In addition, be sure to subscribe to our Newsletter. We will send out a year end customer service survey to all subscribers and current customers.
  • Feedback is subject to be posted on my ‘Testimonials’ page, however, for privacy I may change the name of the individual providing feedback.
Will my name be on the letter or package as the sender?

All of our letters are addressed directly to the child from Santa. The purchaser is not mentioned in the letter or on the envelope.

Do you have a money back guarantee?
  • Yes! If there is a problem with your child’s letter, please contact North Pole Santa Letters by Clicking Here or emailing.
  • Please provide details as to what was unsatisfactory and then send the letter back to us to receive a full refund or new letter.
  • In the unlikely event that a letter is lost during shipping, please contact me for a replacement letter.
  • If your letter is not received by Christmas and a custom postmark was selected, I will offer a full refund.
  • Refunds are no longer available for letters not delivered with the Authentic North Pole Postmark
